The eye of minds compared to Sword art online

This book named the he of minds by James dashner and another book or manga named sword art online are pretty simlar but they have lots of differences. For one they both take place in a video game. Ironically they both have to wear a helmet like headset to play. Also some one is controlling the players and can kill them in the game and in real life. The differences make these two very different. Sword art online has a love story with in the book(s).
