Tale Dark And Grimm VS. Hansel And Gretel

I have already wrote about this book but I like it so much I will write about it again. I'm not going in depth but basically it is a dark and twisted turn of the original Hansel and Gretel, like heads being chopped off and and people dying. So... If you don't know the original Hansel and Gretel it is a boy and a girl leave there parents raggedy house and they meet a witch that tries to eat them then they put her in the oven and the dad finds them. As you can se they are kind of the same but more happens in A Tale Dark and Grimm. The writer talks about befor hansel and Gretel are born and they show what happens after they burn the witch. Also they leave for a diferent reason, Instead of leaving because of there mother they leave because the dad kills them to save somebody.

 

Homesick

So this book is about the life of a child that lives with his dad but the dad cramps up the house with junk. He even saved a splinter because it is supposedly from the holy cross. Because of that splinter his wife left him. Leaving the fact that the mother left the kid lives in a really small town. Everything is just a walk away. It is friendly took because everybody knows each other. I haven't finished it but I have liked the book so far my favorite part was on page 20 and a guy has a radio station and since he had the microphone on when a lady named ms. Crumple was saying how the mom was leaving. You should read this becuase of how it is not hard of a book it is just right. 

2016 goals

Since New Years has happened I have thought about lots of things I want to accomplish but only a few are possible. One of them is getting good grades and being able to graduate 8th grade to go to high school. I have been getting pretty good grades already if I just keep doing what I'm doin then will be able to aco Another one is to work on my jump shot in basket ball I can make two pointers and layup but I rarely make threes. I just need to keep going to the YMCA with my friends or just play in my backyard by myself

Analysis of "The Future Of Us"

"The Future Of Us" was written by two authors named Jay Asher, Carolyn Mackler. This book takes place in the 90's when a girl named Emma gets a computer, her neighbor and long time friend Josh goes to her house for the first time in a while. They see this thing on her computer it is called facebook. They see a picture of a girl named Emma it looks like her but she has a different last named and the woman in the picture looks older. They soon realize what this computer does. 

I like this book for multiple reasons. One, it is not a hard book to read. two, the characters are realistic even though something like this did not happen in the 90's you can realate to these characters. Three, the point of view switches throughout th chapter and I liked that because it feels like a new or different book.

The best gift

Last year my brother got tickets to a bulls game and they were good seats. They were meant for my brother his friend and his girlfriend, but she got sick and instead of taking his friend he took me and my cousin. They won the game and I will remember that for a long time

A Tale Dark and Grimm

So... This book was actually pretty good. If you are like me than you are a picky reader. I like ironic, funny,  and like this one pretty dark hence the name. This book was all of thiose funny, ironic and dark. It is the story of hansel and greatly but with a twist. The original story is they run away, find a house made of cake, a witch takes them in and tries to eat them at the end; but this book has more. It has what happens after and before, before the prince that turns into a king has kids named hansel and Gretel . Wait... Why am I tell you, you should read it.
